Lifestyle | MCM London Comic Con Haul

As always with big events such as cons, I love to bring a good merch haul home with me… And what bigger and better comic con than MCM London?! The event had some great offers and low prices, of which I just couldn’t refuse. If you missed my travel report from the day, you can read it here. You can also view my video from the day here, which features a tonne of other cool merch that was available.

So, let’s get started!

IMG_1310.JPGFunko Fantastic Beasts Pop Vinyls
If you know me well, you’ll know I love collecting Pop Vinyls! I already own Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, so I’ve been after Pops of his unique creatures to stand beside him. I absolutely adore the Niffler and Demiguise, both are normally hard to find so I feel very lucky to finally own them!

IMG_1281.JPGFunko DC Superheroes Mystery Minis
Just like my obsession with Pop Vinyls, Mystery Minis are my other weakness! I didn’t have this series before, but it just so happens I ended up getting very lucky and discovering I had 4 of my absolute faves as mysteries: Harley Quinn, Batman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl (who I was cosplaying that day too!). There are plenty more DC characters in this series, as well as their cute pets! I definitely want to try and find some of the animals next time!

DC Collectables Arrow & The Flash Duo Action Figure Set
I had previously seen this online, but it looks so much better in person! I’m a big fan of both tv shows, and both actors Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) and Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), and both are captured so detailed in these figures, so this set is perfection! Oliver is in his S4 costume and has his famous bow and various arrows, whereas Barry can be transformed from himself into The Flash with a change of head. Both are very articulated and you can also change both character’s hands for advanced posing.

IMG_1314.JPGDC Supergirl Poster Art
This item was something I didn’t actually buy, but was given for free! The artist was impressed by my Supergirl cosplay and very kindly gave away his signed print of the Girl Of Steel herself from the tv series. The thing is, I would’ve actually more than likely purchased it anyway as it is absolutely gorgeous!

IMG_1311.JPGFunko Chessur Mopeez Plush
Quite ironically, this is the only Disney item I purchased the whole day! And of course, it had to be something Alice In Wonderland orientated. Just how sweet is this baby Cheshire Cat from Alice Through The Looking Glass?! He is a wonderful addition to my already hefty Alice collection.

IMG_1322Fallout Nuka Cola Quantum
Fallout is one of my all-time favourite video games, and I’ve always wanted to try the Wasteland’s desired beverage of choice, Nuka Cola! Just as in-game, there was the standard Nuka Cola and the blue, glowing Nuka Cola Quantum to choose between. So of course, I went with the more unusual stranger looking Quantum! It tastes of mint bubblegum – yum!

IMG_1323Kawaii Sloth Plush
I already have a collection of kawaii alpacas, but I didn’t realise these insanely cute sloths existed! They were available in a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes (as you’ll see in my video) but I decided on this little lady with a pink flower. I could’ve easily took more home, but I had to limit myself somewhere!

Cute Japanese Fashion Clothing Haul
Cute Japanese Fashion is an online website that specialises in its very namesake, and they had a small stall set up on the con floor with lots of great value items. I decided on a Tea Party themed dress (being the massive Alice fan I am) and a very pretty flowy mint flower mini skirt!

Dreamy Bows Clothing Haul
Dreamy Bows, just like CJF above, is an online Japanese inspired fashion boutique. Their stall was particularly awesome because it was all pink! I got a few more items at this stall, including a pink and lavender Candy Rain dress, a multi-pastel mini skirt, a white bow handbag, and an anime-style Alice In Wonderland t-shirt (because I just can’t get enough of Alice!). Once again, I could’ve easily have bought more, but luckily there is a website so I can shop at anytime.

That’s all for my MCM Haul! What is your favourite item I bought? Let me know in the comments!image
